so nights going good, chat up some hot girls all night, ***** going great, bars done, girls are giving me a ride home, digging the action, gonna come in for some drink, we pull up behind my super black 350, and i notice the rear windshield wiper standin straight up, not a big deal, just thought the friend who's house i parked in front of stood it up, or someone i knew did, girls are getting out of the car gonna come in and hang out, i get closer to the wiper, and the ****in thing is twisted 3 times around, and i lose it ,so obviously the good lookin ladies get scart(yes with a T) and get back in the car, some jealous punk, screwed with my car, man am i mad it's 6 in the morning and i haven't been able to get to sleep yet, went for a 10 block walk to try and calm down, wow, (whiskey probably doesn't help the anger) but i guess i did get a booty call after all, but jesus, has anyone else had any problems, i came out of the movie the other night and someone spit on the car...............weird

the weird part is, i don't have any enemies around here, hell i'm 4 hours away from home, not many people know me here, and this is happening, sorry bout the babbling i'm still intoxicated, anyways,

I've noticed alot of aggression towards the car for some odd reason...I have 3 cars. When I drive the other two, which are not nearly as nice as the Z, I'm fine...when I drive the Z, people cut me off in traffic, don't let me in when I put my turn signals on, open their doors on it, etc. The first week I had my Z, it was keyed, and someone opened their door on it (it was parked FAR away from other cars).

It must be jealousy..I'm guessing that alot of people have lost their jobs and can't afford nice cars like maybe they used to, so they get pissed off. In 1997 I had a new bmw Z3 and I parked it at college every so often. I couldn't count on two hands how many times somebody spit on the car (I didn't have any enemies there). I'm hoping when the Z isn't so new anymore it will get less attention and I can begin to enjoy this car in peace. For now it seems it's my Z against the world .

 

Damn, that sucks for you guys! I don't understand what people's problems are!

 

Sorry to here that fellows. Some people out there need to grow some dicks and not mess with people's car/property and if they got beef with the person, take it up with them...not the car/property.

I'm really starting to notice all this hate people have for this car, too. I had to work Saturday (ugh), and when I left my office, I had a noticable, though not deep key mark on my passenger side door. I was livid, but I was fortunate enough to have access to hubby's car detail stuff--two coats of something he had buffed it out. But from now on, I'm sure as hell not leaving my car out in the open by itself.

 

I'm actually about to contact the "Site administrator" so that I can edit my post, as, according to site rules, you cannot edit your post after 90 minutes of posting it. I already tried to edit last night. And DaveL, no hard feelings.

Took mine in for the feathering issue last week and there was a CS touring with the words "F*ck U" keyed in the driver's door sitting in the service bay with a body service tag hanging from the mirror. I almost cried.

Man, that sucks! Peolpe are ****ED in the head---I don't understand why some one would key or Spit--????--on a nice car? But just remember--one day that person will get theirs! If some of you are finding this a regular problem set the car up and watch it--then when you see some one mess with your car beat the **** out of them. Before I sold my S2000 I had Honda valve stem caps--only 9.95 right, I purchased them twice because some cheap *** kept stealing them--not all 4 just two or one. I think it was the skate punks that would skate near our parked cars at work.

 

I don't mind harsh language, and I think a lot of insults are funny. I just don't equate being gay with being an a**hole.
