Default liquid splashing sound when pulling from stand still

I tried searching guys, but I didnt find any information about this. noticed a splashing sound when I was adjusting my parking. I was thinking this is fuel? It sounds like its coming from the rear. Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance..

I also hear this when moving slightly while using just the clutch...
I'd be interested as to what this may be.

Its the gas, its pretty cool how you can hear it. The Z is the only car Ive been in that I noticed does it.I guess it means the tank is VERY close to you.

this happened to me once actually.. for me it was the coolant being splashed around i think, because when i topped it off it stopped. Happened when i first installed a new plenum.. but since you said its coming from the rear, its probably your fuel

Did you have a Big Gulp before driving?

Do you have a colostomy or urostomy bag?

If not, it was probably just gas; take two antacids and call me in the morning.

if you put your passenger seat forward and open up the compartment and take that little black panel off.. you can see your fuel tank. lol. and yes it is scary how close it is. hahaha. after changing my fuel pump out and hooking up my return fuel system i can smell gas if i fill it all the way to the brim. that REALLY scared me the first time i smelled gas. hahaha. i got a new gasket and fixed it tho .

Check the anti-splashing valve. It may be clogged with back pressure.

My two previous cars (Mazda6 both of 'em) had this little thing... you could hear the gas sloshing 'round pretty clearly

When you're at the race track and you've removed the carpets and spare tires, you can REALLY hear the gas. Its a constant reminder to not crash.

PS: To remove the noise, drive on a quater of a tank.
