Question Radio / Clock Display

Is there any way to adjust the brightness of the radio / clock display? During the day it's kind of hard to read. Nothing in the manual that I could find. I know how to adjust the dashboard lights.

Hi Steve, I made this comment almost 6 months ago. It would be nice if the clock was displayed in the left gauge of the 3 on the top of the dash.. maybe they will change the type of display in the radio for 2004.. A lot of good that does us..

Steve (k2we) Dobbs Ferry, NY 6090 miles since Sept 17th.....

on the left side of the dash gauges is the adjustment, but it is only for when the lights are on (I think)

I don't believe that controls the light on the clock/radio, though............

Well, your belief is wrong. It does control the light on the clock radio. Of course this probably wont help, because the brightest setting is with the lights off.
