when does the manufacturing warranty expire ?

ok so my tranny is still under warranty.....

cuz it randomly started scratching in 5th gear....

that's been such a problem with all the z's that even if you're past that they should do what's called a goodwill warranty! I work for honda service and we had such a problem with odysseys from 2000-2002 that we extended the trans warranty to 7yr/100k (normal is 3/36)

well time for me to go to the dealer and have them check it out ....


why does it scratch tho?
i've driven manuals but never like this 350z my first one .. bought it like 2 months ago.

with mine the synchronyzers were all f***ed up!

i just hit 40k .... bought it with 39k .... im glad .. i got it with low miles lol.....

time to call the dealer tomorrow after my doctors appt.


Also .. i really appreciate your help.

The Z Boards are always full with people that like to help out.

being in sales i can tell you if you didn't agree to an extended warranty then you probably got ripped off so bad that they gave you one! banks will only finance a certain percentage over black book value (what a used car is worth) when a dealership rapes you for much more than the book value then they'll "throw-in" an extended warranty to allow the bank to finance more than that percentage of book value! meaning the dealership raped you but you are still happy because you thought you negotiated a free extended warranty! just my

to think after gettin raped by subaru last year with my WRX i woulda learned... i suck lol

o well i dont plan on keepin the car for more than a year or 2
