You're supposed to measure your tire pressure when they're cold.

I saw ICY a few weeks back when I had went to Big Bear. I knew what it meant right off the back. And as far as tire pressure goes, all 4 tires should read 37 PSI for that is the PSI they should be at.

No, they are supposed to be 35psi when cold.

Guys dont lie to him. Listen man take it to the dealer right away your car can explode at anytime or engine may seize rush to the dealers and and make sure u tell them about the icy light. And the psi light thats real bad it means power system inoperable it can be fatal to your long block dont bull**** him man its a known problem on 350z with 1500miles

That's why you check before you start moving.

ICY refers to outside temperature (comes on automatically when it gets to about 37 degrees or so; there is nothing wrong with your car). PSI is when your tire pressure gets low and it's warning you. My tires seem to lose air when it's really cold outside.

Because it knows you should have a good quality tire gauge to check pressure before driving off, when in doubt, and because the car needs to go above 15mph for the system to gauge tire pressure. TPMS is not 100% accurate; can be +/- 1-3 PSI at any given time depending on conditions.

You check the tire pressure, when the car has not been used for a few hours or more.

Sometimes you frighten me. Tire pressure increases because you are driving, and driving causes heat. But don't be concerned. If the tire pressure is correct, then the tires will be fine.

One thing about when it displays ICY is it goes to the temp reading automatically. It a bit annoying since I leave it on the speedometer, and a few times I though I was going 31 when I was actually going >40 before I realized it.
