it makes a slight whistle as it sucks in air, between 3000-4000k rpm, after 4k you get a deeper growl than the stock air box.

the whistling is what they mightve compared to a BOV or turbo.

its a nice upgrade overall to the sound of the engine IMHO

First, I would plot out the route that you want with your car and what you hope to achieve, and it's purpose.(track, drag, show, go?) Then I would research the aftermarket world and write down the ones you like the most. Then buy them. Exhaust, intake or popcharger, would be a good start.

I'd pay an extra $1500 to paying off the loan.

[I don't think] many people understand that [it's not about how the car does at the track or whatever.]

I don't think that David street races in NYC, from one light to the next.

If a boy in his daddy's BMW raced David in his 350Z [on a road course], I think that David would win.

LOL!

There are plenty of used Nismo's FS in classifieds, I just saved you 400/500 dollars.

MREV2, Spacer, pop-charger, and maybe high flow cats. Exhaust would be nice but the stock 1 isn't really bad at all. You can get by with it for a while.

And people are saying the pop charger doesn't sound like a BOV. Mine whistled REALLY loud when I'd change gears when I 1st got it. I had so many people ask me to see my turbo install. If someone asked me how much boost I was pushing, I'd be like, "Boost? Pffft. It's all about vaccum!"

on a 06 a pop charger to me is worthless, the 06s have velocity stacks on the intake. Get a varis duct and call it a day for the intake.

+1 on the savings account. once i got used to my 06 all i wanted to do was mod the hell out of it. but, im still in love with the car in its current state. (if i got a pre-06 i would have atleast picked up a set of wheels, but the 06 wheels are sexy enuff). im now putting 1/3 of my paychecks straight into my savings account, because a house in the future would be nice. or maybe trade the 06 in for a FERRARI in like....40 years ;x

oh oh oh, i do have a mod. arc radiator shroud.
