0% Financing at Nissan?

Anyone know if Nissan is going to have the zero percent financing like the other automakers are starting up again?
We just bought my wife a new Yukon (her dream car) and with the zero percent, it was just to good to pass up. I'll take free money anyday, not to mention the amount we save in the monthly payment.

Massive amount of inventory not being sold due to current market conditions. How do you draw out buyers on the fence and push sales? Drop to 0% financing.
Nissan is NOT a mass producers of vehicles like the Big 3. As long as Nissan vehicles are selling well, they do not have to go to 0%. Maybe only 3.9%, like the new XTerra commercial tonight on TV.

Toyota just came out with the 0%. They were about 2 weeks later than the big3, but still they followed suit.
I figure Nissan will ahve to match, or at least I hope so. To me it is like when one airline cuts their fares, they all do it, becuase they want to stay competitive. I understand Nissan may not HAVE to, but I doubt they would want to lose the sale of an Altima to a Camry because they didn't offer similar financing.
Oh well, only time will tell...

Read the fine print. Last time Toyota did 0% it was only on select models. Tacoma's, Camry's, etc. were excluded.

"Toyota is offering the zero-interest financing on only some of its models - the compact Corolla, its 4Runner sport/utility vehicle and its Tundra pickup truck. But its most popular models, the Camry sedan and the Sequoia, Highlander and Rav4 SUVs, don't have the incentives. A spokesman said Toyota is not at this time planning to extend the incentives for either a longer time or to more models."

For this car, I doubt we'd get financing from Nissan any lower than the prime interest rate. They know we want the car (pre-order folks), so they don't need to entice us with super low interest rates.
My plan is to get pre-approved for a loan elsewhere before I take delivery (maybe at a credit union for around 5%). That way I have something to fall back on if they try to stick it to me with a crappy 8-10% loan. Also, if I already have a loan approved, they may lower their rate to beat it.

I was going to get a rate locked in with a credit union, but after checking with the dealer, I'm not even going to bother. The dealer was able to beat the credit union by 1 percentage point, or 4.5%. Not too bad in my book!
Am I missing something??? At least until last month, Nissan was been offering the 0.9% financing on the Pathfinder, Maxima, Sentra and a few other models (Sentra?). My wife and I bought a 2001 Pathfinder last October under this promotion. Though it's not full-zero, Nissan was allowing you to take the low 0.9% financing AND the $1000 cash rebate.... thus under a 3-year loan it was actually a few dollars BETTER than 0% APR + no rebate. Most of the big 3 forced you to choose (rebate or 0%).
Barring something totally unforseen, there's NO chance they'll offer this with the Z.
John, was your dealer able to offer you that rate now on your preorder Z? My dealer said they couldn't lock in any financing rates until the car arrives.

I don't know about 0.9% but the lowest I've seen Nissan offering around here is 3.9% when we bought a 2002 Pathfinder about 3 months ago. I doubt they are going to offer any kind of financing below 5.9% on the Z.
