Don't think so. Plus, you can just take it out and put the stock airbox back in

Didnt mean to offend you "stabber"

If I were to get headers, wouldnt it come out to be over $1000 due to me having to get it installed?

Forgive me, I never wanted to **** off a guy called stabber!

UMMM THE POP CHARGER IS JUST A HEAT SHIELD, MAF ADAPTER AND A CONE FILTER!!!! CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG PLEASE BECAUSE THAT SURE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. WHATS GONNA BREAK? WEAR AND TEAR ON THE PLENUM SPACER MAYBE? (SARCASM) STAINLESS EXHAUST AND TEST PIPES?, ARE THEY GOING TO RUST (LOL) OR IS THERE SOME OTHER MYSTERY THAT YOU KNOW ABOUT AND THE REST OF THE 350Z MODIFYING COMMUNITY OVERLOOKED? FILL ME IN!!
STOCK THROW ON THE SHIFTER STILL HAS SOME ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT, ITS ABOUT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE THROWS NOT THE HEIGHT OF THE SHIFTER....

Get an exhaust.
or, if you already have one, get new dampers.

And drive.

Better yet, get 2 HPDE week-ends!

i guess i'll throw in my second advise.

1. get window tints
2. take out $150 and hit the strip club
3. save the rest of the $$$
4. when you hit 5,000 or so, buy some rims

or you can be a daredevil and hit vegas.. hit the amazing $10,000 jackpot and do steps 1,2,4 all together and with the rest of the money... buy a "fleshlight"

I badly need:
- New Rims
- New tires
- Radar Detector
- Suspension
That's all the parts my car is in dire need of.

This is what I would like to get:
- Nismo Exhaust
- JWT pop charger
- A new hood (prolly after market, since a cabinet fell on my hood in my garage).

My suggestion looking at what you need...

Seibon Carbon Fiber hood $500 used
Powdercoat rims any color (will take out curb marks and scratches) $400
JWT popcharger $100

Personally I would do, Varis Air Duct $180, Carbon Fiber mirrors $200, Carbon Fiber front Diffusers $200, and Carbon Fiber intake tube from EVO-r $150, and save the rest...I love Carbon Fiber

Or

Sparco/Recaro/Bride Seats $1,000

Not a whole lot you can buy for the Z with 1k... I am up to like 10K+ already and I still have another 10K to go!! but at the end the 28K vehicle with 20K into it will be a hell of a show car and track car...

I'm bias but here is my list:

Tint rear window / 6" Eyebrow $80
G35 Spoiler off ebay $50
Popcharger $120
Motordyne spacer $225
EBC Greenstuff Brake Pads (front) $70
Paint Calipers $5
Front Splitter $65
Tint rear tail lights and backup light $10
S2000 antenna $20
Free oil change mod to air deflector - for ease of oil changes.
Free glovebox mod ($8 in carpet maybe)
Velcro (Carpet side to cover warning labels on visors) $2
Car Bra $99 (for long trips)

Want list - TT's for my Firebird LOL!! and/or the Z

Shouldnt you paint the spoiler before you put it on?? IMO it looks bad with the bra and blue G35 spoiler.... I fit my airwalker kit in my garage and then took it to be painted...Dont be like the honda civics with blue body kits and orange cars!!

Sorry I didnt mean to jack the thread but i had to say something.

the best thing you could ever ever do with $1000 is buy a beater and keep the z on lockdown at home in bad weather and for the daily commute. that is hands down the best possible thing you can do for your z.

Amen to that!! I store my Z from Nov-April when all the salt has dissapeared!!
I am the most **** retentive with my Z!!

Here is my Beater, a little more then $1K but thats a good call with the beater. My Z isnt practical either so its nice to bring the Celica GT-S in town and if it gets scratched its not as big of a deal!!

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/111820-new-350z-owners-read-this-before-doing-any-modifications-to-your-z.html

I suggested something different in the first page of this thread but read the link above. It changed my mind. I would get a clear bra ($250) tint ($165) valentine 1 radar detector ($400) and a pop charger ($180). Total=$995. From there I would just save for wheels and springs.
