Another damaged by Tire Tread thread...
So I'm on a single lane ramp, a big SUV in front of me and a tire tread comes flying up from underneath the SUV.
Couldn't swerve to get out of the way, but I was able to slow down enough that the tread didn't land on my hood.
So it hit the bumber pretty good, got some scratches on the middle "bar" under the intake which aren't too bad, but on the drivers side just right of the intake is a horrible mess of deep scratches.
Luckily I wasn't going fast enough to cause any real damage, just the scratches.
So what are my options, I'm afraid that if I get it patched up it will look like crap, plus I have no idea at the moment how much that would run me.
With taxes coming up, I really don't think I can do anything about it right now...suck....
