i live in plano, tx and there are a ridiculous number of enthusiasts here near dallas, allen, and mckinney. one time i was on 121 just driving around with my little brother on a saturday afternoon and 2 ppw Z's appear in my rear view mirror. the first one rolls up and i hear the whistling of an APS twin turbo and the one behind him had wheels and exhaust. we talked at a stoplight and ended up convincing me to go to a car meet in another city about 15 mins away! its pretty cool bc i ended up meeting the creator of My350z.com. First airbagged G35 ive ever seen.

anyways, just thought that was a cool story. if you guys ever wanna see car enthusiasts, just drive through north texas : )

YEah i see 350's all the damn time and they never wave back, or even bother to look over. But there was one time about a few weeks ago, when i was driving to work i saw a silver Z with a single exhuast on i-80w near hilltop mall. So i drive up next to him and tried to give him a thumbs up, but instead he just looked at me with a snotty look, downshifted, and mashed away lolz. oh well. I use to get tons of honks, waves, and thumbs up with my z32

I see bunch of Z here in Charlotte averge about 3-4 Zs a day.
I believe there are many enthusiasts owns Z here..always return waves,
flashes at me, thumbs up..modded or not, you name it. Even mid-aged ladies with Zs return waves. Even bodyshop gave me a discount just because I owns a Z..later I found out he owns 300zxTT. What a wonderful city!

There are few here in York, PA but not too many.

I see a silverstone parked in a pharmacy parking lot all the time. I am assuming it belongs to one of the pharmacists.

Saw a blue roadster parked by the Outback last night.

Saw an Interlagos coupe with a bra about a week or 2 ago.

There is a blue coupe that lives within a mile or so. I have driven by while it was in the driveway.

theres a good blend of modded and daily driver z's in FL, I've never waved or been waved at. Theres a new MB 06 in my parking lot, we both park way the F out their away from other cars and trees along with a Vette and a decent lookin GTI, actually not a bad lineup we got out there.

I live about 20 miles outside of ATL. I see maybe 10 a week. And most of those are the same ones that I see every day . Most of them are not enthusiast. They don't take care of them they are allways dirty. I see people smoking in their Z thats just gross. Only a few people wave or acknowledge me in my Z.

i always try to wave when i see a Z. there are plenty here in Dallas. A car like ours deserves a little acknoledgement, especially when you can tell its another enthusiast. i tend not to wave to the mom's and middle age crisis men.

I see them all the time, but only one time has someone waved/acknowledged. Most don't even look. I don't know why but I don't like when other Z drivers don't care. Its a Z damnit!

I see them all the time here in NOVA. No one ever waver. I saw a Z once with an exhaust and some rims, but he started to rev at me, I just left.

See more all the time around here, but almost all are bone stock. Ive given up waving at them unless I can spot at least one mod since most people just look at me like I'm nuts (which I probably am but they don't know that) I get more acknowlegement from the older gen models, not the 350

To Wave or not to Wave. When I was into sport bikes, waving was a huge deal, at least to other sport bikers, Harley dudes rarely waved back. Didn't know that it was a 'thing' with cars, a little harder to see a wave when in your in a tinted-out Z. Have to remember that when I get my 07.

or even worse is the housewife who drives the car like its a minivan, and treats it like a trashcan.

the worst is the enthusiast Z driver who doesnt wave back. come on. if you see another Z driver, wave! be proud of what you have and dont always try and race just cuz u have the same car.
I feel the EXACT SAME way.

There really aren't many in our area.. I'm in Lancaster. Not an owner.

Hmm, so yip, I'm teasing here, but are they not enthusiasts because they are older. I love my Z clubs in NZ, such a huge variety of ages, everyone has something different to offer the community.

I only see one or two where I live every other day. Some times I'll see 3-4 in one day then no more for a week or so.

With that said I drove down a street for a few miles next to a black base in my white touring and he waved back when I gave him the thumbs up.
