se-r,

Outside of the minor stuff (e.g. window grease, etc) have you had any substantive problems with your 03? How many miles did you get out of your clutch? How many miles per set of tires?

Thanks, Rat

MY 04 has 45K, which isn't bad, but way more than what I wanted to put on it. Oh well......

Wow! That is pretty sweet! You might very well be among a handful of people in the country to have done so!

Pretty neat that you noticed that. I would be pissed if I noticed it a few miles too late.

P.S.: With 7k on my odo, I am on my way there!

Change your fluids like you should.

I always use synthetic motor oil every 3000 miles and use red line in the diff and tranny. It works for me.

My old car was a 92 SE-R that my father had purchased brand new and was givin to me in 99 when I then swapped the motor for a GTi-R SR20DET motor. The car had always had redline transmission fluid changed regularly. I used the same tranny with my swap and it never had a failure even with 300plus hp and 167k on it. So the moral of the story is change fluids regularly and use the right fluids that are best for you in your opinion (ie Redline, Royal Purple, Amsoil, etc)

According to the service and maintenance guide, change every 30K miles. However, lots of fellows here change it every 15K miles or less. Hope this helps.
