Im so happy I bought today a new 2006 PPW Enthusiast for 31k I just paid for it all out. I was walking out the dealership after some bs deal cause I also wanted leather seats, so we all got in the car and as we are about to leave and they come running after us saying what do you guys want to close this deal. So we said 31 OTD and they added the leater for free and some free wheel locks. I also asked them to deliver it to my house (without any dents or dings or else, and detailed).

I did the same thing because I wanted leather seats...

I didn't answer my phone for a week. By the end of the week, the 5th message on my voicemail was "the car just came back from the leather shop, and it's waiting for you for [lower price than before]"

Grats on the purchase. They didn't add the leather for free though, no dealer will lose money to sell you a car. There was enough gross in the selling price to cover adding the leather. An easy fix PPW is a nice color too

 

I don't see many PPW here but it's a gorgeous color. Congrats and post pics for us to see!

 

i've always believed that it was the other way around. my gf's dad works for a dealer and he tells me that they don't make that much on the cars. they make most of their money on parts/accessories and labor. I work in a high end bicycle shop and it's the same way. say a bike that is dealer cost of say $2000, we'll sell it for $2700-2500 and sell all the other accessories at a great margin. plus the future regular maintenence that they'll have to do will cover that cost of the bike quickly.

 

Congrats on getting the PPW. I hope you have a garage in SF. I thought about getting the PPW too. It looks great...until some numb nut who can't park nudges your bumper, then you get black smudges you can't get off. Of course, I hope that never happens to you. To counter the numb nuts, I got a black one.

I'd have to agree here. At least you have the job done properly. I did exactly that, made the dealer a bit distort, oh, you'll have to sign a thing to say you asked us to deliver ungroomed, I'm like go for it.

 

you should of asked for the full nismo body kit and the nismo exhaust!!! Good stuff
