Thanks azjimbo!
The only thing that I read that concerns me or that I haven't heard to date is...
"Heated-seat buttons on the center console that I kept turning on with my elbow. Not a desired effect in July."
Anybody believe this is going to be a problem?
I think your always going to have varying opinions about MT vs. /AT. Here is a counter opinion about transmissions that I posted the other day.

Automatic vs. Manual transmission is truely an opinion. Some like manual, some don't. I wouldn't be concerned with it. It is not a statement of good or bad about the car.

I read this guys car reviews every week.Basically it is a short overview with no real testing. To be honest this review was one of the best he has written about ANY car at any price.I truely believe the Z has its own niche in the market.

I love how everyone always rags on the car for not having a glove compartment in the usual place. Neither does a Porsche Boxster or even a $75k 911, but nobody seems to care about that. They just want to find something to gripe about to justify "what's the catch" with such a low price on such an amazing car.

z350z-I hear you about the glove department.I could care less about the cargo room and a few other complaints.I am getting a pure sports car with world class performance at a reasonable price. What more can you want?

even when my wife read his article, she said he can't find anything real to complain about. any they can't only say good things.
I also was alittle concerned about the heated seat button, with my long arms ..heat in aug. in az.is bad. But no one else has mentioned this so we'll see

Disappointed in heated seat button placement! My present 2000 Maxima and my previous a 1998 Maxima, both have/had those buttons poorly positioned on the center console . . . and yes, if you aren't careful you can easily turn them on. I could never understand why Nissan didn't put these buttons on the dashboard, especially since there are two button placeholders there already! When I saw this in one of the Z photos, I thought well here is one mistake they made. Oh well, I've been living with it for five years, I'm real sure I can handle it in my Touring.

Ohhh...I didn't realize it was on the center console. I missed that or the exact location wasn't mentioned in the article. I'm not that concerned. The heated seat button on my wife's 2000 Toyota Landcruiser is also on the center console and in the 2 years she's owned it and I've been in it the button has been accidentally turned on I think once. Thanks joepublisher.
