Well, tomorrow (April 1st) is my birthday. Yeah, yeah, I know. April fools day. Spare me the wise cracks. I've heard them all before.
Anyway, last Friday it was really nice here (70's and sunny). I got home from work early and took my Z out of storage! Drove it for the first time since my law breaking photo shoot for the 350Z calendar on Jan. 3rd. After putting about 25 miles on the odometer and a trip to the gas station for a fillup of fresh gas, I took the car home for the first detailing session of the new year.
I washed with Z-7, dried and then put on a misting of Z-6. I then put on a layer of Z-5 for any swirls. I didn't use the ZFX so I just left it on all night. In the meantime I did the inside with 303 Aerospace and the tires with the Zaino tire dressing.
On Saturday, after it rained all night, I removed the Z-5, hit it again with the Z-6 and put on a layer of Z-2. Again left it on all night and took it off early Sunday (after doing a hip fracture before dawn). Put on one more layer of Z-2 and took it off late Sunday night before bed.
This was all in anticipation of, hopefully, giving myself a birthday present of opening up Z season (i.e. putting away the Stealth and using the Z as my daily driver).
Well, as they say, the best laid plans.........
Shall we say, Mother Nature had other ideas.

While inside I found out that the new CS Z belongs to one of the radiologists. Here is another car in the docs lot (don't know whose it is) but I have always love it.

Well, it doesn't look like I'll get my birthday wish of putting the Stealth away and keeping the Z out since everything is covered in muddy salty muck. Oh well.
At least the Z is safe and sound (and CLEAN) in my garage.

After reading all the steps you applied with the Zaino in the first post, are you sure you just didn't Zaino yourself thru the warm season? LOL!
Happy B-day, Da Bonzer & Fellow Brick.

I just got this in my e-mail from PeopleFirst (who I financed my Z through)
A Birthday Greeting From PeopleFirst to Me!
That is a nice touch.

Lol, I was gonna say something about crowding that Z, but I got beat to the punch.
23 layers? Your car must weigh 50 lbs more! They should use your car for anti-tank weapons testing, it's like it has it's own personal atmosphere and outer crust. I hereby name your car, Planet Zaino. Watch out for meteorites (rock salt) and alien visitors (BUGS!).
Happy Birthday!
