most existing parts can be used with the 07 Z, unlike the Evo X, where it's an entirely new body and design.
you ask Z owners on a Z forum, there's going to be bias towards the Z. Evo owners will do the same. The reason why I chose and stuck to two Zs is the styling and refinement......and i also had an Evo too.
the guys will bash with these questions because we see them once a week. of course the Evo will be more mod friendly and cheaper to mod. but you buy a Z for the sexy look & classier feel. my Evo had a cheap and flimsy interior. the Z's, while not on the same level as a BMW / Lexus, is still nicer than the Evo's.
do some research, go test drive both and then decide for yourself.

I'm new to the forum, therefore my opinion may not hold much weight with the veteran members, but aren't you really comparing apples to oranges here??? 4-door, 4-banger/FI, AWD w/econo box styling to 2 door, 6cyl n/a, RWD, roadster???

Get the EVO X, If you going to get a "Roadster" If the Z was a coupe get the Z.
The Roadster is just Horribly Ugly ((NO Offense to Roadster guys))
So go with the EVO, plaus the Z is slow, if your looking for power.
