Maybe you should work on reading the Manual that comes with the car.

I remember back when I was knee high to a grasshopper I always made my mom reset the Trip odometer after filling up the tank.

Press and hold the reset button and it should read your IQ...

EVERY car has a Trip Odometer installed on them. Not just manual cars

How can you say a hobby of yours is working on cars and you not know what a Trip Odometer is? The GED comment was right on target.
