Nice, I picked up a late model '05... pretty discounted because the '06 models were on the lots. I couldn't swing the off road, but got the S trim in an auto 4x4. Nothing really special beyond my fancy floor mats, oem steps, a set of mats.com window visors, window tint, autodim rearview with homelink, compass, and temp. I also bought OEM lighted visors, but the light is soooo cheesy it is rediculous. It is also equipped with a CompuStar Pro 2W9000FMR (fancy remote starter). Had it for almost exactly 2 years and 26K miles now, only changed the oil on it and it is perfect... really a capable 4x4 that is easy enough for my wife to drive.
You have to be a d*ck, and my comment was for the people that don't drive their cars because they don't want to put miles on it. Obviously if you live in a place where it snow 4 months out of a year, yea it makes since to have a second car. But, this thread is concerning DD, and not necessarily a car for winter driving. Be a little more respectful in the future and not sound like a complete a**hole.

Nice! I'd love to sell my 01 Xterra and get an 05+ 4.0 v6 FTW!
But the 01 Xterra is my "beater" It only has 60k miles and is in great shape, but I don't give a crap if it gets dinged or scratched. It's the one car I can drive and not worry about dings, scratches, rock chips, miles, and snow/salt/sand (when I go up to Tahoe)....
If I bought a newer one, I might care!
I dd the z tho - only 1.5 miles to work...
