I turn it off right after I turn on the car. Its like putting the car in gear to me.

Goes on when there's any wetness whatsoever though.

as soon as i turn the car on i turn that pice of s**t off its embarassed me to many times when iam at a light and someone is trying to race me the light turns green and the traction control is on messes me all up i cant rev as high as i should be able to and gives me a crappy launch just one embarassing moment so now i made it a habbit to make sure that i turn it off but when iam driving on the corners in the mountains around here i turn it on just to keep me from sliding around when iam going fast around the sharp corners then i love it

I turn it off when i do some spirited driving. Sadly i forget to turn it off sometimes and then i get annoyed when when it cuts the power while i'm trying to have some fun.

I only turn it off after i finish watching fast and furiouse Tokyo Drift, Then I pretend that I'm DK and drift in parking lots around corners. I also have a wing thats 72" wide and 36" high let me tell you a lime green Z with a ginormouse wing and APC stickers will alow you to drift like DK as long as the TCS is turned off!

I actually had to turn it off in the snow the other morning. They hadn't plowed in my complex yet. Just the main road. Traction control kills too much power so you flip it off and just use wheel speed to move the car. Get it up into third gear and just plow along.
