sigh.... 27,500 - 1000 rebate = 26,500 .....14,000 trade in - 5000 cash down = 19,000......26,500 - 19,000 = 7,500 owed

Um, he paid 26.5k TOTAL. INCLUDING TRADE. they gave him 14k for the trade.

why, if i had a dime for everytime someone posts that they got a new car and paid such and such for it, i would be rich. after the first 100+ threads about the same thing it gets old, and no one really cares anymore.

First of all, congrats on a great deal! I think the reason people were questioning what you paid was because it was such a good deal. Sometimes people post on here the paid "X" amount OTD when, in fact, it wasn't.
