Default ummmmm just test drove 07 Z

the car is crazy fast.

i drove to a Nissan dealership with my friend to check out the new Z. when we pulled in, i immediately spotted an 07 solar orange Z and was surprised to see how much better it looked than the previous orange color. i went inside and spoke with a dealer who had me in the Z in about 5 minutes. as soon as i got out on the road i asked the dealer if it was cool if i gave the car a little juice and he says "go for it kid, i used to be a race car driver" i was amazed with the straight line power, like the car feels so much faster than my rsx type-s it isnt even funny (this is the same type-s i opted over instead of an 06 Z last year). like i redline my high revving type-s every day and i would be satisfied if the Z had a 6500 redline - but it just keeps pulling. even in forth gear around 30 miles an hour, the car takes off like a rocket compared to my acura. i asked the dealer if he wanted to show off a few of his skills in the car and he gave me this ignorant smirk, so i pull over, he gets in and beats the living **** out of the car, like i almost felt bad but i had the biggest **** eating grin off my face. i'm gonna trade in my 05 rsx type-s for the Z, but not the Z i test drove () . i'm gonna tell him i dont like the orange color and get it in silver instead.

all i have to say is wow.

I think most sports type cars get driven hard that way on test drives. I know I did when I was out visiting the folks in la.

How else would you drive it, right? That is the only thing with sportscar. You have to test drive them hard. I was told the same thing when I test drove the Z a while back. They normally have a car that is specifically there for test drives anyways.

Like any other new car...with the proper 'Break-In'. I feel sorry for whoever ends up with these 'test cars'

it was a bad deal, they wanted 30 for a used enthu with 4000 miles.

i got the 05 type-s with 20,000 miles for 12500 after trading in a 2000 audi a6 with 175,000 (i wouldve given it away for free) and dont regret it

i'm ordering a carbon silver 07 base Z tomorrow

I test drove one today, too. It seemed quick but my car definately felt faster. And also, the clutch feels really brittle ... wasn't too big a fan of that ...

I drove one also, and it seems like the car is sluggish. And even though you can rev it to 7500, i felt it pull alittle better when i shifted around 6800 ish. It felt stable and solid, but to me heavy. Maybe I am used to driving my modded Z but if I had to guess, i'd say the extra weight kind of washed out the extra hp. just my 2 cents.
