More than 50% of the time, customers know more than the dealership themselves.

i think it's gonna mostly depend on the service guy you talk to.... i actually have two friends who work for the regal nissan service department, and they know just about everything about the cars they work on (they've done all of my work/installs on my z and on my maxima).... i think (hope) this is just an isolated incident where you came across the wrong guy working on your car....

I would be beyond shocked if there was any response. From a dealerships standpoint, one angry customer makes no difference to them. There are just too many more current and potential customers. They really do not care if they lose one. I just finished writing to the owner of where I purchased my vehicle and where I was treated like a POS. Will I get a response, certainly not! Service after the sale is not something dealers care about. They can always replace you with at least one more.

Very true. Very true. I have met some very cool, knowlegeable, and competent guys at Reagal when I had my '04 Z. Maybe I'll see them at the next NOPI meet!!...

This other mechanic was old enough to have been retired and incredibly cranky. I think I accidently offended him when he was hap-hazardly monkeying around under the hood and I innocently asked if we should go get a mechanic to look at it. I thought he was a Wal-Mart - I mean 'garage' greeter or something. He got all flustered and said, "Ma'am, I am a mechanic!!" Ooooops on me!! And the Manager did absolutely nothing to help the situation... Oh well, my experiences there have been about 50/50 over the last couple years . I'll try somewhere else from now on.

I'm not slammin' on the guys/gals there that *are* good, and have the same passion we do for fast/ quality cars!

Good job!
Now call Reagal Nissan in Atlanta and tell them to **** off and let them know what you think of their BS.
Then tell them you are contacting NNA to tell them the whole story.
Also let them know you are lodging a complaint with the BBB.
You should post your story about their crap in the regional forum and be sure to provide them with a link. You should re-title the post so it has their business name in it as well.
Then, think of anything else you can do to really **** them off.
