Buy my Auto TSX so that I can purchase a Z, ZR or G35 Coupe (6 speed manual of course)

does anyone know if ANY car company make something equivalent to BMW's smg
The closest thing u can get to the SMG would probably be Audi's DSG. Although they are a different design that would probably be best suited for u. Get something like a TT 3.2 with the DSG.

We have two 04 enthusiast Z's at our house. mine is a 6MT and the other is a 5AT. I'll tell you from experience..... I'm always hearing "Wish I would have bought a 6MT".

Test drive [Back to back] a 350Z coupe and a G35 coupe. I've had both and both are very fast, even with a 5AT. I prefer the Z, unless you really need a small back seat.

I fly past 6MT cars all of the time.

The car is so much more than just its transmission. For god's sakes man, just go drive it.

The Z is an awesome car, no matter which transmission you get. The difference in speed between the two is minimal. Get the AT Z and ROCK IT!!!

As said in the post above:

Why don't you look at the Audis or VWs with their DSG transmission? Perhaps you might like the new TT or VW GTi??

That transmission, as far as "non-conventional" manuals go, is stellar. I've driven my friend's GTi with it, and it really is the most like a manual out of the ones out there. It's no Ferrari F1 paddle shift, obviously. But it really does replicate the shifts of a manual extremely well and in full auto mode is very drivable.

Good luck with whatever you find.

I've also heard the new auto i the G is supposed to be evry good as well.

I have a 5AT and love it. The car is fun to drive and quick enough for me. Go test drive one for yourself.

The 5AT Z is fun as hell and nothing to worry about. I love it, don't let others put you down for it. Look at it this way, if you got a beautiful girl next to you, instead of shifting you can be holding her hand. =)
