Default Hater slashed my tires!!!

I'm so pissed right now , I went out to a bar up the road from my house on saturday night to listen to my friends band play, and when I leave I hear a hissing form my driverside rear tire. I figured that I ran over something and would have to get it patched in the morning. So I drove home and went to bed. Yesterday morning I wake up to check on the damage and notice about a 1-inch gash in my side wall , witth a bunch of little pokes around it. I have no clue who could have done it I really don't have any enemies in my town so I have to assume that it was just some jealous ***** with nothing better to do . I ordered the tire this morning and its going to take 4-5 days to be here so I am forced to drive around with the donut on. The car looks so ghetto with that little thing on there. Anyway just wanted to voice my anger and let everyone know there are haters everywhere so be as careful as you can.

That sux! I guess you were lucky since you didn't have to pay for the whole set of tires.

I'm very paranoid myself. My parking space is next to a concrete wall so i park really close to the wall so it would be impossible to steal my wheels/tires on the passenger side. Having 2 stolen is better than all 4.

Look on the bright side...tis better to be you with a Z than some a-hole with a screwdriver.

can't remember if there's a limited slip diff on the z but does your manual say anything about using a spare tire with one? i remember reading stuff about messed up AWD diffs on other cars.

Angry

I feel your pain man. I picked mine up way back in the first week in Oct. Had to drive up from Miami to Baltimore where I'm stationed. She was exactly a week old took her downtown to party, only to come back to the parking garage and find a 3 ft key mark down to the primer on the driver door, and another 4 ft wavy one on the panel behind the driver door, they keyed the tail lite. #@$%ing haters. excuse the expression but Im sure another Z owner would use the same. I hadn't even gotten to show my friends at work my new car I had to show next monday with a nice scrath down the whole left side. So I guess this is my chance to vent as well. I feel ya pain man.

My stock 2001 civic got keyed and I kinda know how you guys feel. I was SOOO angry. I wish there was a car that would shock people if they touch the paint with a key.

The spare is full size so that doesnt affect anything.

Sorry to hear that!! It could have been worse though. I much rather have someone ruin a tire than key my car or dent it. Mat the person that did this to your car burn in hell.

Think at it this way. You are VERY lucky it's just the tire. He could have "keyed" your car.
