Finally got my tracking number. I hate my dealer right now.
I ordered on Feb 14, but despite my calls, he insisted that orders did not have to be called in until April 1st. He said it didn't affect delivery. All along he's told me august (I'm first on his list). Yesterday he tells me Sept 2nd. (Probably Sept 2002) Then I ask for my tracking number and he says, "Oh, maybe it's not going to be built until september so that means october at the earliest" Then, "I've got all your info, though, so if we get one like yours in regular stock before we get your preorder, you can have it" This guy actually thinks he'll get regular stock cars before preorders??
Well, here is the info:

Just got my order number today deliver went from end of sept to end of october
W179780 350Z Order number. My dealer said that it's not 100 percent accurate on my delivery date but that is what he has on his sheet. Can someone maybe verify with my order number?

Don't kill the messenger- but it looks like other 'W' order letters were told November delivery. Your dealer might have seen delivery 11/02 and thought...well I'll just say end of October vs. beginning of November...when, actually 11/02 means November 2002- not November the 2nd...

but was he right...
by saying that the dates aren't 100 percent sure since they don't have VIN? So it's possible that the delivery time could change?

Dealer finally called. Not the date I wanted to hear. Please add my info to the database.

I ordered around the beginning to middle of February. My dealer said first or second week of September most likely, but I assume just in September sometime. My car is getting delivered to Lakeland, Florida.

My dealer actually just called me today and told me my order # and that I should expect my Z in September. My order was the 4th one faxed in at my dealership (15 in the dealers allotment.)

I posted this info an hour ago on your Soup thread, but in case you didn't get it... I will post it again here.
I have some good news!! I called my dealer in Merced, CA. this afternoon and he told me he has 5 - 350Zs being delivered the first week of September. My ChromeSilver Touring is the 2nd on his list of 5.
My Order # is S261041. He had no VIN #.
If your shipping schedule holds true, I would think my car will be on the Haul Traveller arriving in LA around August 25th. They probably put those 5 cars on a transport truck destined for Merced.

As for me, I appreciate the comments. While I admit I am pouting to myself, I am also living vicariously through all those that are getting updated info. My time (and others) will come soon.

My wife and I would really enjoy seeing you up here. Plan on spending a day or so with us if you wish. We live on a cliff (3300 ft.) which overlooks Sonora and the San Joaquin valley to the Coastal range. Good mountain roads to drive the Z. Let me know and I can give you directions, phone number etc.

I went to my dealer and talked to him about the delivery of my car
He told me that my car should be here 3rd week of October even with the "W" order letter! I asked him if he was sure he didn't mean November, he said he was sure.
