What is being fixed in the production model
I am curious to know what exactly will be changed or fixed in the production model. I know that there were complaints with the navigation door and a couple of other things. People have speculated that they would be corrected in the production version, but has anyone received confirmation from a creditable source (Zisme or someone else)? I like to be an optimist when it comes to my preorder, but how do we know that the same problems on the preproduction will not show up in our cars?
If I remember right, the Nav Door thing was supposedly fixed. Did anyone play with it on the Pikes Peak White that was at the groupZ meeting last time? I seem to recall that was the first "full production" model we've seen.
Other than that, the slight rattling sound the gear shifter makes is not going to be fixed because it would mess up the feel of the shifter. Personally I'm totally fine with this.

I posed this same question to BrianZ, who was able to see the White Z at Fuddruckers recently. Hopefully he can chime in and put us at ease here. In any case, he mentioned to me that indeed, the NAV door seemed to be in better shape than in previous cars we've seen. I know that was on Nissan's fix-it list. Let's hope it was taken care of. And thanks Brian!
