I think too many people start panicking without realizing that their cars are brand new and some consumption is to be expected.

I currently have ~3750 miles on mine. Received the car Feb. 19th. I changed the oil at 1500 miles, which was exactly 7 days after I took delivery, and one day after I made a trip to the dragon. It had used a little oil, but nothing out of the ordinary for the first 1500 miles on a new car.
Since then, oil consumption has been zero.

i dont even wanna count the car washes im not happy its not garaged i practicly spend same amount on car washes as i do on gas with all this sand in the streets and since my drive ways getting redone my zs in the street i know it shouldent be aloud i wash the car in 2 days even if its not drivenits covered in dust and pollen frm the trees i want a garage it the long run it would save money on car washes
2000 miles here yesterday. Changed the oil at 1000 miles. I am sticking with conventional oil for now as I plan to change regularly. Haven't seen any hint of oil consumption yet (keeps fingers crossed

Just over 900 miles on my 2007 Z since mid February.
Haven't floored her yet. Waiting a while longer to break in nicely. When I do floor my Z, I think it may 'take off' and leave me behind.
First 3 month oil change appointment will be end of May.
Need to find out if synthetic oil is good for the Z in extreme hot weather conditions?
I've read about it some here.
Seems some Z owners switch to synthetic at completely different mileage numbers on their cars. Looked like Royal Purple synthetic oil was prefered over other brands.
