Default *UPDATED* Well, I got a New Z :) W/PICS

So up until today I had an Black 03 Base. Let me tell u about my black Z. It had 59,300 miles. Just about to leave warranty. Burns about a quart of oil every 4 or 5 days. 3rd gear grinds and the immobilizer in the ignition has some issues that causes it not to start every now and then.

So Last night about 2am I started browsing Carmax's Website and found out they had a Red 03 Touring Edition 27k miles still under warranty in memphis where i live about a block away. VERRRYY NICE shape. So I get in my Z drive to the lot about 3am to see if its still there. Yup. So i got to thinking. Ive wanted a red one since i bought my black Z

Well this morning my girlfriend took me to the dentist and after I took her by to show her the Red Z I found.(she had no idea i was even lookin) She see's it and is in love with it at first site. Her Liking it swayed my decision So I told the guy look I have a Black Z i bought from u guys about the same time last year pull this one around back ill be back in about an hour with my car cleaned up to trade-in. So she drops me off at my house I put my cats in the hatch. Drive to my parents place and get the stock exhaust and Y pipe. We head to a buddy of mines shop and 45 mins later the car is back stock.

Get to Carmax, they appraise my car etc etc 2 hours later im the proud owner of this...

only got to take one pic because it started rainin before i drove it off.

Welp Come tommorrow 2pm windows are getting 5% all around and 35% down the front windshield and my Staggered black 19"s are going on the red car. Oh and this was my old Z

and wheels that are goin on...

basically the black Z needed work the previous owner had ragged it out u could tell and was about out of warranty which could have cost me a ton and the red Z had the following...

Touring-
Leather Seats
Vdc i.e LSD!!
27k miles
warranty
CRUISE CONTROL (you miss this when u dont have it)
and it only cost me another 1kish more.

*new pics SAles bay

after tint shop 5% all around and 35% down the front...

after wheels

MY Nvidia Exhaust and my best friend and roommate putting on my plenum spacer after we finished the exhaust. (he's a full time mechanic) Took him all of 15 mins to do my plenum spacer no lie, exhaust maybe another 20 mins.

And take Note all of these mods happened less than 24 hours after buying the car. none of the car guys around here know its me.

Dude not to sound like an ***, but im so glad the black car is gone, it was starting to become a real debilitating problem. It had to go. Plus since I saved all of my old stuff (and have new Z parts brand new in the box) it works out great.

whats ironic about that is theres a good chance that the guy that owned the black Z before me is on the board. Black Z came from Atlanta, had aftermarker Hid's when I bought it and had the front bumper ALREADY cut for a cold air intake, some of the exhast bolts were missing and it had an aftermarket clutch from hell in it.

The clutch in this car WAY WAY WAY lighter than in my old Z. Like I touch the clutch now and I feel like my foots gonna go through the floor, theres NO resistance at all. Beka Z's car feels just like that

Congrats. Rims will look hot against the red. I just hope you don't run into the same problems going 03 -> 03.

Nice ride, if the guy previous is on the board he should let us know what he did to it, who cares, its gone now right? Definitely feel bad for the next guy, did carmax do a good inspection....at all? Lol. Seriously though, you should delete this thread, legal things you know what I'm saying...I wouldnt want to be caught bragging about trading in a junker when the next owner kills the motor, I'm sure you didnt tell them the motor is burning oil like crazy? I dunno, maybe I am being to cautious, but you never know.

Knowing me, if the engine in the black car was going to go out, I probably would have bought one of the built TT's floating around for sale, motor only, or **** tried to mess around with a skyline motor.

carmax inspected the car, they said it all checked out and i signed a form that said i sold the car AS-IS and they bought it from me on the terms of AS-IS. I signed and initialed numerous times. I didnt not tell them there was stuff wrong I just let THEIR guys inspect it. technically they could have it fixed at nissan no questions asked.
