you want to keep your current mods, switch them out yourself. and if you owe anything on your current car, it would not be smart to trade it. but do whatever you want, you sound pretty sure of what you want to do anyway, you don't need a car forum to make your decision for you

i'd try to return the car back to stock condition as much as possible before trading it in. All the mods means nothing in value to the dealer. For instance, it would even reduce the trade-in value if you had the vehicle suspension lowered.

actually what i was thinking is if the dealer would take the mods off and put them on the new car, seeing as he ll have both cars there. rather then taking them off bringing the car in picking up the new one and taking it to be put back on.. anyuone done this before?

I don't think many dealers will want to bother removing your mods, putting them on the new car, and then putting the new car parts on your 03. That's too much work for them plus then they'd have a weird 03 on their lot.

I'm sure they'll do it but you'll get reemed in some fashion.
