I noticed at the end of last summer that it plummeted. very strange.
The ECU sets a richer A/F ratio as temperature drops, and runs leaner as temps rise.

If you actually only get 15 MPG, you have some problem that needs to be addressed.

my full tanks vary...the most i ever got was 450 driving str8 from biloxi to houston all highway miles and i coulda still went another 20 assuming with the observation i jus did. u guys seem to get horrible gas mileage...i actually think i get great gas mileage
Yea, the mileage doesn't really suck with the Z, it's the price to fill her up that sucks. What surprises me is the size of the gas tank, 20 gallons. That is more than the tank in my 2000 Nissan Frontier. That one has like a 17 gallon gas tank. Anyone ever wonder why the tank is so big for the Z?
Wow, I'm suprised. I should read my manual. For some reason the most gas I have ever been able to put in my car is 14 Gallons. I usually fill up once the MPG starts blinking (40). With 14 Gallons I get about 200 Miles. Whats up with that?

The best way to find your true avg mpg. is to calculate how much gas goes in once the gas warning light lights up unitl it lights up again. However large the "reserve" tank is, you will still get a, relatively, accurate numerical average on how many miles/gallon you are getting.
My car is still being broken-in and I do mostly city driving. I get about 300miles/tank (full to fuel warning light), which is about 14.8 mpg. I only have about 300 miles on my ODO so I'm not sure how accurate of a sample 14.8mpg is.
