+1. Had all four of my stockers stolen. They left the car sitting on 2 bricks with the rear on the ground. I have a 2-way pager alarm with 2 locks on each rim now..

Did you have tilt sensors installed with your Viper alarm? Those are made specifically to prevent jacking the car up. I know I can jack up cars carefully and not set off the shock sensors

Wheel locks may not stop a motivated thief, but if a thief sees multiple wheel locks on your car, he will most likely go find an easier target. To take the wheels off with the wheel locks, he'd have to hammer a sleeve over the lock and impact wrench it off, which causes a tremendous amount of noise. I doubt a thief would risk all that noise unless he really desperately wanted to get your wheels.

I have two wheel locks on each of my wheels. Call me ****, but my wheels have never been stolen.

I’m surprised - people even take the risk to remove 2 and/or all 4 wheels b/c it takes some time to remove them and it looks pretty obvious to anybody who passes while the thief is in action..

That sucks! I bought wheel locks for my car when I did my first oil change. I park my car outside work all day long (by UCF). Sorry to hear what happened. You should move to Avalon Park, they have really nice apartments and Town homes for rent/sale and is pretty safe. Did you replace them with stock rims?

This is actually old news, this post was revived! Thanks for the recommendation, I'm actually moving in August, I'll keep Avalon Park in mind. Yes, I did replace them with stock rims.
