Default Bad day....

As I was driving about 35 km/h on a two way, one lane city street, cruising. So idiot driver in a Dodge Dakota desided to pull out of her parking spot w/o checking for thru traffic first and side swiped my 2 months old Z!

Most of the grunt was taken on the front passenger side quater panel. It's gone, front bumper is torn. Door has two deep scratches in them and the rear quater panel is partially flattened. More? Yes, rear bumper is scratched too and the headlight housing has loose chrome pieces in it (needs to be replaced also). Still more, the rim was bent. $10k (cdn) in damages. Man... Why me? I just hope that the suspension is ok as it seems like the upper A-arm might have taken a hit. Damn it.

ouch man, that really hurts. hope its a quick repair.

it isnt your fault, so insurance can take care of it. atleast it is cosmetic damage, replace the panel, and your good to go.

Interesting..... Now you got me thinking... Ah, now I'm gonna drive even slower! ARGH! I feel like selling the Z and just by a **** box to drive. Then I wouldn't worry so much and be so damned careful all the time.
