Do you all have mods on your car? I figure that's the only reason you guys get harassed. I don't have any mods on my car to make it look different than other Z, so I figure that's why no one ever gives me a hard time or tries to race me.

I think he was smart about it, for 2 reasons. He just did the same thing back so...

1. The guy is going to know who did it.
2. No legal problems b/c the other guy did it too.

Now if he keyed his car or slashed his tires he might be looking at bigger problems b/c both are much worse than coke on your car.

Yeah, the guy will know who did it and he should report it. They police will laugh at you. "So he threw a bottle at you so you drowned his car in coke?" That's like saying, he bumped into me so I ran into him at 95mph".

No its not.

He actually assaulted him, or attempted to. By throwing a bottle at him (IDK if it hit him or not). But anyways, the cops wouldnt deal with ****ing coke on a god damn car anyways.

I would not have retaliated but this seems appropiate; a measure of revenge and no perm damage to the guy's car.

Eye for Eye, Soda for Soda, anything more, like keying, would have been out of line. People are so ignorant, He was just jealous. Probably pissed because he thought you should have bought a mustang instead of a classy sports car like the Z.

Man people are weird, i would NEVER DARE throw any thing at ANY ONE or curse at any one.

People can be very dangerous, you NEVER know whos gonna whip a gun out on you and just let a few rounds off.

Yet people do crazy stuff to each other, i never understand it. I would have did more than soda to the car i think a beat down would have been in order. Then again i never would have responded to some crazy guy yelling at me. SO maybe that situation never would have escladeded.

I don't know about other states, but check these out (read below).

To the OP, I think that guy 'assaulted' you. You could have taken down his license plate (and since you followed him home, his address) and called the police.

Anyway, glad you're okay...so have you bought a real car, yet? j/k

To the locals, it's the "McMissile" case.

And like the name, the details of it spill forth like a bad joke: A woman is driving north on Interstate 95. Three kids squirm in the back seat, and her sister, six months pregnant and having early contractions, sits in the front. The stress starts to simmer. Traffic slows, then crawls, then creeps. More stress. A car cuts in front of her, then scoots away. A short time later, it darts in again. She can no longer take it. She veers onto the shoulder and speeds up. Wham! She tosses a large McDonald's cup filled with ice into the other car.

A Stafford County jury convicted Jessica Hall, 25, of maliciously throwing a missile into an occupied vehicle.

"From my side, I heard a whoomp," recalled the woman's sister, LaJeanna Porter, 27. "I was like, 'I know you didn't throw that cup.' She said, 'Yes I did.' "

...

No one was injured, but the cup launcher, Jessica Hall, 25, of Jacksonville, N.C., was charged and convicted by a Stafford County jury of maliciously throwing a missile into an occupied vehicle, a felony in Virginia. The instructions given to the jury said that "any physical object can be considered a missile. A missile can be propelled by any force, including throwing."

Projectile road rage has erupted again.

Two days after a North Carolina woman emerged from seven weeks in jail for launching a cup of ice at a passing car, a man has been accused of tossing a cup of coffee from his car into another vehicle, then briefly fighting with the other driver at a Fairfax County intersection.

When it was over, the alleged coffee-hurler -- a 29-year-old Loudoun County resident -- was hauled off to jail on a felony charge of unlawfully throwing a missile at an occupied vehicle. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

No. This story is more just. Keying someone for a door ding is far worse than returning the favor equally. More money involved with keying cars ...
