I bought my car at the end of December, and was not a pre-order. Just got a copy of The Run in the mail. I actually talked my dealer out of one a couple of months ago, so this is my second.

There is also a card in there that if you go to www.nissanowner.com and register, they'll send you a leather CD case.

Thought I'd let you guys know who might be waiting there are apparently some in the mail.

 

I preordered over a year ago and still no RUN for me!

Yea, what's up with that!! I preordered Jan 24th of 2002 and still no copy of the run.

 

Just got my copy yesterday. Pretty cool DVD! Watching this thing made me want to go out and pound the road in my Z!

And it was only 3.5gigs in sizel! So I was able to make a backup DVD on a DVD+R disk without incident!

 

Got mine about 4 days ago (Thursday I think). Finally! Bought it Dec. 4, no preorder.

Loaned it to hfm after watching it, who has had the Z since September/October and still hasn't gotten the Run. Damn, forgot to take out all the Z owner stuff so I could register. Didn't know about the leather case, thanks!

 

Got mine from Courtesy a coupla weeks ago.

 

I just got mine yesterday. Don't fret, it's very un-remarkable. It's a very boring drive through the streets of prague. If you want an exciting car chase in europe, go watch ronin.

It does sound nice though.

 

Yeah, it's real tame. Nothing like a BMW film, those are well done. Some side mounted cameras would have been nice, or some better stuff through some twisties.

 

Obviously not a pre order.
Just got my Run video in the mail today. Have not had time to view it.

I got mine today out of the blue. I think it was from registering at the Nissan website under the "My Nissan" section.

I also did a 350Z focus group last month, but dont think that is why I got it.

I await my free cd case...

I hadn't registered at www.nissanowner.com previously. I had registered at www.z.com , but I don't remember giving my serial number on that site. I don't think that is why I got it.

 

What iis the 'pin number' business on that website? I don't understand... =\

 

Just got "The Run" today in the mail. Wasn't expecting it at all.

Regular order for Z 9/13/02.
Z Delivered 12/28/02.
The Run delivered 4/14/03.

Not bad, but I would have liked The Run to have been through a city with smoother streets. Maybe they'll do one in San Fran. with a Blue Z! Go airborne a few times! That'd be cool.

It is printed on an insert in the package that comes with the DVD.

 

Bought my Zzzzzz on 12/28/02. The Run showed up today.

Think I'm gonna put the package in the Zzzzz with all the other papers.

 

Got mine today!!!!!!!!!! ok.... not impressed. After all the whoopla I was expecting something spectacular. Oh well, but thank you very much Nissan, I still appreciate the gift!

 

Just got done watching my complimentary copy of "The Run." I ask myself one question: "Why didn't I get a six-speed?"
