So I've been giving forum members kiiller deals on new Z's. One of the forum members wanted a combo we were out of, so we dealer traded it. On the trip back... right in front of the store, the car got broadsided by a guy in a Nissan Xterra (not our fault). The salesman was fine.. the car is done. The frame is trashed, even the rear bumper doesn't fit. I don't have all the facts together, but I thought I would share on how well these things hold up to an SUV.
Sorry guys... I have the feeling this car will need to be left alone until after the insurance company pays out. I will see how much they want for the salvage. If it's cheap enough, I'll buy it and part it out to you guys.... but it won't be soon.
Nice to know that the car can take such a beating and the cockpit stayed 100% intact. Next time I'm driving next to an SUV in my Z il feel that much safer.
How fast was the Xtera driving? Did It head front first or he hit it from his side? How fast was he driving?
