172 after AAM reflashed my ECU.
Speed limiter removed and 7200 RPM redline.

Note: I won't be doing it again anytime soon. Trying to stop from that speed rates an 8 on my "a$$ pucker scale".

Ever since I got the updated 1.1 jiggawatts conversion kit, it keeps pulling hard all the way past 40 mph

For Crisakes, somebody just tell the OP what a stock Z could top out at with the speed limiter removed. This is the 27th post. I can't cuz I don't know and don't want to spend 1 hr. searching through all the long threads for that 1 or 2 bits of information.

Given HP and Aeros... I would guess just shy of 165mph with a manual and 160ish for an auto...

Can anyone clarify/invalidate that?

Factoring in the stock gearing, the AT has a higher top end than the MT.

Wow. You are the very 1st person on the site to think of that idea.
Congratulations.

Really?? That would be interesting.... even with the gearing factor there is typically a higher DT loss through an auto.. (which is becoming less and less true every year but still holds water).. anyone know the difference in dyno numbers??

Wow, all this bagging on the poster and no answer....leads me to believe most of the posters here don't know themselves.

I for one would like to hear what the top speed someone has done with the speed limiter removed.
