as an ex RSX type s owner, i was always mod friendly. Aftermarket Z parts are really expensive, doesn't keep me from mod'ing though :/

Sounds more like you do. People paid X amount of dollars for their car. Whatever they choose to do with it or NOT to do with it is none of your concern.

Aftermarket wheels so far , my stockers have my track tires on them. Other than that a drop in K&N and a few other things to come.

Chances are if you frequent this forum long enough, you're gonna catch the modding bug sooner or later...

MY car is BONE STOCK...save for a 2000 dollar Stereo.....why would i want to MOD a car that i paid 24k for and am only gonna keep it for 3 years or so and would lose my a$$ if i modded it and sold it later? Its just a car, a nice car at that. But for me, Modding my car isnt even on my list of priorities....

And for all you younguns who say "Why you on this site then?" well simple answer, its a great site, with great information, and with "some" great people.......

I can completely understand not modding (especially if you don't have the money) but I don't understand spending 2K on a stereo system and not using the money for other mods.

But then again I think I've turned the stock radio on once since buying the car.

To each his own I suppose.

I had an 04 turbo'd and pretty much decked out. Now I have an 06 completely stock with no plans to mod anymore. I have a nice stereo system but thats it. I decided not to mod until I get an 09 Z or G with an HR engine. I really enjoy not having some stupid issue every other week also...it doesn't feel good to spend so much money only to have issues. As for now my rev up has treated me well and is a lot more fun than the previous stock engine on the highway.

hehe, well the stock radio sucks! Stereos are a bit different IMO, you can put in the stock head and speakers, and take the box, amp, Subs, and door speakers with you..... Really it boils down to each his own, we all have our priorities and a perception of what is cool. Personally my lack of interest in modding my car comes down to my Interest in modding my motorcycles and racing them. I did the "mod the car" bit back in the late 80's and early 90's so i guess the mod my car bit is out of my system(so now i am off to bikes)

I have only put a pop-charger on my car and that is all im going to do. Unless you are doing forced induction or NOS, i feel that most "mods" are just bogus and of dubious effect. Too many folks out there are a victim of marketing and a lot of bolt-ons really just dont do much of anything. I have raced planty of friends who have done all sorts to their Z's and we've all come to realization that in general its all a waste of money.

But big exhaust cans look cool!!!

Why am I getting blasted for not posting very often? Have I offeneded you by not posting enough? Am I not worthy enough to post in the same threads as you since you have 20 times as many posts as me in 4 years as I do in 8 months... big whoop! I guessed you missed the part where I said I was just kidding about 16% of people needing to be beaten. HAHA, LOL, OMG!

Default i might be stock

i bought a K&N high intake filter, but thats it. My reason is that i feel all mods look terrible on an already perfect-looking car. Body kits/flashy rims/radical paint jobs are just money spent on making your car look worse. engine mods i understand but are out of my league so no comments there.

im still bone stock. I REALLY wanted to mod the Z as I have done to my previous cars but NA mods are too expensive for such minimal gains and FI is too much maintenance. I'm going to hold off and mostly likely get a C6 Corvette.

id LOVE to mod but there arent too many things (well, absolutely nothing) out specifically for the 07 HR yet. But if i get tired of waiting, im probably gonna go for wheels or exhausts first.
