Thumbs up

Forums are all about building community and a network of information. A lot of this information is searched by other people. So when other people have the same question they are going to search in order to avoid duplicate posts. When we spell words like absolute garbage it doesn't help build this network of information or community.

The way I see it is there are two types of forum members; people that are contributors to the forums. These people understand the value of the forums. they understand how creating legible posts can help build this network of information and help their fellow Z owners.

On the other hand you have the community parasites. These are the people that have no respect for themselves or the community. They don't appreciate the value the community brings. And they clearly don't contribute anything useful (or legible, or indexable (not a word, I know)).

No one is saying that your grammar and spelling needs to be perfect. But the least you could do is try. Typing like **** may save a few seconds of your day, however, it isn't going to help anyone else including yourself in the long run.

Have a nice day.

about the gears starting to grind, are the aftermarket the clutches more cheaper than replacing the stock ones, and will the trannie start grinding again after the stock dealership replacement?

The dealer should not charge you more then $260 for the clutch. That is how much I got it for from the parts dept at my cost. (own shops)

Yeh i paid 300 for the clutch and no labor cause they had to change the trannie anways. I wouldnt go with a aftermarket clutch atleast till warranty is up. They might try to blame the grinding on your aftermarket clutch. Well i cant say if it will start to grind again i know on the 008 some people had grinding come back even after the replace. But no one really knows about the 009 cause its pretty new. But so far the 009 feels really good 1st to second is nice and smooth not notchy like it was. You still feel the gates but no grind and bearly any notch and the clutch feels alot better then the one that came with the car. Some people have orignal trannies and never had grinding issues some had 3 trannies replaced and it keeps coming back. But i feel like the 009 wont have grinding just by the way it feels right now the old one never felt like this it always felt weird going into 3rd and 5th.

Warning: do not attempt........if you release the clutch just a split second sooner than the third gear is fully engaged, you will hear/feel the gear grind for sure.
