Actually Z was ok while driving in snow. It could not climb any kind of hills per say. But it was ok if not accelerating through the turn and applying gas slowly. No highway driving though. In fact I felt that Z is better in the snow then I thought it would be when I bought it. With winter tires it should be ok in the snow.

BMW performance driving school is great!

I know BMW isn't a Z, but it helps alot. And if you got the money do the M school ya get to beat the crap out of about half a million worth of cars over two days

Cheers

Kevin

O and the basic is 600 for the entire day and they use to include meals
That’s cool, but would it be better to learn the Z dynamics then BMW's dynamics?

read up on basic driving dynamics (ie weight transfer) and techniques (brake in a straight line, feed steering angle, then feed throttle) before going to an HPDE or instructor. it'll make the track time more worthwhile.

dynamics is the same for both FWD and RWD. only difference is that you power-understeer in a FWD and power-oversteer in a RWD.

and park the car when it snows.

there are common performance driving skills that somebody can learn in any car. A good driver is a good driver, it shouldnt take them long to adjust to any cars individual quirks.

push to hard on the gas = sliding back end

go to a parking lot and floor it, that is the only way to learn. you cannot learn from reading how to drive a rwd car
