Talking about the nismo release next friday!

I will be attending the Nismo press conference in Los Angeles next friday, and reporting immediately after on 350zfrenzy. I don't know if there will be questions and answers, or if I can interview the nismo rep directly, but what do you want to know. This is at the SEMA IAS show, so other manufacturers will also be present, shoot me any questions for other companies too!

1) Will Nismo be releasing a turbo OR performance parts?
If so:
a) Will it be under warrenty?
b) Estimated release time?
c) Any predictions on power?
d) Pricing?

2) Other companies making any performance/turbos?
If so:
a) Estimated release time?
b) Any predictions on power?
c) Pricing?

3) What are some upcoming products we can see for the Z? (Performance/Design/Luxury, anything good)

If Nissan Rep's are there, can you find out any comments on

1) Feathering Issue
2) Rattling on driver side stero system
3) Bouncy suspension
4) How long do they continue to keep the Z in production? Willl it be in 5-6 years of continuios, then Z34 coming out, or will it go out like the Supra, sell for a few years, wait 3-4 years, then release the new Z34?

Turbo may be too rich for me. How about just a chip, intake, and other internal upgrades from Nismo that'll enhance performance? Thanks!

Moodie- That's what credit cards are for. Damn this car is going to send me to the poorhouse.

2003z- yes Moodie is correct, while I would also like to know about any FI, I'm more interested in their 6-12 month roadmap for things like ECU, that will provide additional power in the short term.

I'm throwing around the idea of taking a trip down for Sat and Sun portion of the show- if I can get my buddies to drive up from San Diego to meet me. If so I'll be sure to take pics of all the models for you Moodie

me too, if Hondata can get 18-20 WHP for the RSX-S, wouldn't it be great if Nissan (NISMO) could get 15-25 HP for the Z??? (that seems like a little much, BUT I hope they can do it, I will be desappointed if it is only like 5-7 HP, although that is better than nothing)

ECU's don't come cheap, if they only end up giving 5-7rwhp on the Z, hell even 10rwhp, no way am I dropping nearly 1,000 for it. The Injen CAI+Exaust put out more then 30rwhp for about the same price!

ya, but after a certain amount of time, the ECU adapts to the mods and sends it back to stock HP, so you got NOTHING more.

btw, you really feel like those mods will give you 30 whp???

usually ECUs start just under 1000-800, then trickle down to $500

1) How much will the full Nismo S-Tune kit cost?
2) Will all dealers be able to install the Nismo S-Tune kit, or do we need to go to "approved" dealers?
3) If the 350Z is taken to a dealer, and proven by the dealer to have the suspension issue, will there be any kind of discount for the S-Tune kit, which fixes the bouncing/porpoising issue?
