well to answer that question about the rain, if you were to collect pure evaporate water, you would be correct it would be distilled. and pure.
but what you are forgetting is the smog and all the pollutants we put into the air everyday. that raindrop had to fall about a minimum of 5,000 feet through the air before it hit your car. the water absorbs microfine particles of dust, polution, smog, and anything else thats in the air before it gets to your car. its the same reason why you have allergies even though our air SHOULD be pure.
its also similar to acid rain.

This is weird.
There was an exact post just like this one, where sombody had their stubby stolen and the theif replaced it with another antenna.

hahah i stole my friends S2k antenna and swamped it with mine. He thought his grew because he mite of clicked something in his car, but he eventually found out and swamped it back without me knowing.

Atleast they were decent enough to give you their antenna, i guess... still a low-life. Whoever decides to steal my 4" shorty ebay antenna is in for a surprise... it doesn't get any reception!! hahaha!

hahah that sucks but you have to admit it is preety funny how he left you his stock antena, so the guy who stole it must of felt guilty which means he must be a nice guy hahahah. This is realy funny to me cuz well my freind was telling me to do this to another Z if i see one hahah i actualy though it was a good idea but not worth 12 bucks.

I should have realized this, because a friend and I were talking about antennas a few weeks ago. Turns out when he was over a little while ago to help me move some furniture he swaped antennas between my Z and his VW GTI.
We went skiing on sunday. When he stopped by my place in the morning I showed him my car and asked if he notice anything different. His response was basicly "Oh yeah you want your antenna back".
Of course karma is a ***** because that day he nearly lost his wallet and cell phone while snow boarding. Lucky for him some couple picked it up and turned it into the lost and found.
