Default Should I? $14,000

Ok heres the deal. There is a 2003 350z touring in the next town over. It has 24,000 miles and hes asking $14,000. Only problem is that the cars rear section near the gas cap is damaged. Gas tank and tail lights do not appear to be damaged. The owner has a second car so the z is garaged kept and rarely used. The reason he wants to sell is because he cannot afford to get it fixed and would like to get an infiniti fx. Is it worth it to buy it and fix it up if I can talk him down maybe a couple grand. Also guessing from the pics (pics below) how much do you think it will cost to fix?
Thank you in advance

One of the lowest priced Z's I've seen.. I'm sure it's not over $1,500 to fix it...

This car ranges on KBB private party between around $18-21k. Great deal. Almost too good to be true. Have the car checked out before you buy.

What are the spots on the spoiler?

14,000 sounds like a good deal.

That'll probably be $2500-4000 to get fixed
And I wasn't aware you could get 17s on touring model...pretty sure they were 18" standard, so confirm the model before you buy

Sounds like a great deal to me, but with it being damaged I would have a dealer or a shop you trust do a full inspection before you buy it. the body damage may be the tip of an iceberg...

I work for Dashers Auto Insurance I asked one of my appraisers how much they think that would cost to fix what they said was " It looks like he hit a pole, and from around $1,000 - $2,000 MAX "

So there you have it! Buy it! Good deal
