Default Power House Amuse: Japan Road Trip Part 1

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to post some notes and photos during my visit to Japan. I was in Tokyo for a holiday and decided to make a visit to some tuners.

The first one was Power House Amuse, located in the town of Kisarazu. I took a train from Tokyo and arrived about 90 minutes later. At the station, I took a 5 minute taxi ride to Amuse.

At the shop, i was greeted by the front office manager, who is also the bosses wife. We sat down and discussed the modifications to my ECU and filled out the necessary forms to get the process started. (Prior to my trip to Japan, I had already decided to get my ECU retuned by Amuse)

While waiting for my ECU to be retuned, I took the opportunity to walk around and take some photos. They had several 350Z and S2000 around the workshop. The boss was busy tuning an S2000 on the Dynapack Dyno, while his other mechanics were busy on another 2 cars.

About 20 minutes later, my ECU was done. I was handed back my ECU with the label " AMUSE HI-TECH ROM". That was neat. I also decided to purchase the Ti Intake Pipe. It was just too beautiful to ignore.

After buying the products, I was given a ride to the station by their beautiful daughter. I had a very enjoyable visit, they really tried very hard to make me feel comfortable and were very accomodating despite having difficulty with English language.

I'm looking forward to another visit in the future.

Prince

Here are some photos(sorry for the poor quality)

I got the following done,

1) High throttle program (electronic throttle data) modification,
2) CVTC (e-VTC) data modification,
3) Modification of fuel program and ignition timing
4) REV modification (from 6600rpm to 6800rpm)
5) Speed limiter cancellation (All JDM cars are limited to 180km/h from factory)

The intake pipe is freakin' awesome as well very unique/rare i bet but does it actually do anything besides look cool for $499?

900... for ecu tuning and a TI pipe... which iirc is like 200 bucks here?

not a bad deal, did you get a dyno sheet or can you give a driving impression?
