Enthusiast Order Numbers Make Sense
Lacking a life -- until my Z comes -- I decided to go through Scaf's table of Z orders to see if I could make any sense of when our cars will show up. While there is a definite correlation between order date and order number, there are quite a few that don't make much sense. The enthusiast orders do make sense, however. Of the 12 enthusiast models listed, 11 are in perfect order and the twelfth is just a little out of order. The three January orders got "R" numbers, 4 of the 5 February orders got "S" numbers, one ordered on Feb. 9 got an "R" number, while a February 4 order got an "S" number. The four cars ordered after February (including mine
) got "T" numbers. OK, now I will go back to something importent, like pondering whether NISMO is going to make a hi-performance gas cap.

Looking at Scaf's updated chart, I missed one Enthusiast, and it is a little out of order. It was ordered on 2-15 and has a "T" number, there was one ordered on 2-25 with a "S" number. BTW, the last three numbers T3089xx are the 2 VA orders and my order which though I live in DC, was actually made in Va. I hope this doesn't mean that the VA orders are going to be the last to get their Zs
We know that of the various trims, Base and Track were the least ordered, even though Track is well represented on this forum.
So far, we do not have a track model with an R number. We also didn't have a base with an R until just a few days ago, so maybe a track R just hasn't been advised yet.
