OMG...Dealer told me some inside info
WELL folks this is a first. After spending a couple hours at the dealer ship today I gots some news. This info comes from the fleet manager, My source at NNA in Irving TX, and some guy the dealer says does car shipments for the dealer. He said my car is coming from the west coast in California then on to a train to Mesquite TX then a truck ride to the dealership.

My car was made and is off the assembly line. SWEET---YIPPEE- my baby Z was born.
August 1st Thursday- finance info residuals and such SHOULD be out.
1st week August rumour for first cars hitting DFW. (I personally will believe that when I see it.) Mine is projected late august - early sept.
P.S. There are deals out there for under MSRP you just have to be inventive to get them. (hint you scratch their back they scratch yours) This kinda of deal only works for the 1st allocation people.

Dealers will know exact day of pick up, 3 days before they hit the dealer. (I believe that since the dealers have been totally out of the loop in the past.)
Second allocation cars havent even been faxed yet. ( Sad....but, I can believe that) I was told that if you ordered out of the first allocation that your not even in the sytem because your car hasn't even been ordered. That answers why some havent recieved anything yet.
(for example my dealer was allocated 16 cars so very sad to say and pleases dont call mine dealer and let him know I told you this....number 17 hasnt been ordered into the computer or faxed off yet compared to the 1st 16 that got faxed at my dealer Feb 14) All 16 1st allocations have tracking numbers. Other 30 orders don't

Josh man your friend say Sept 02 on the list that Clay had...The 02 wasnt the day, it was the year. Right now they only have estimates. And yes I was told we are only getting a 3 day notice. I dont think this is exceptible

I'm not gonna get my car first sad to say i didnt get my hook ups before I ordered the car. Like i said late aug early sept. SSSSSSoooo If i dont get mine first there will be very happy folks in a few more weeks.

I dont think we need to get Mulder and Sculley involved quite yet...
But I heard that there is a new Lethal Weapon movie coming out where Murtagh and Riggs are in search of lost shipment of Z's that were destined for the west coast but were hijacked and sent to a small dealer in remote Iceland. The evil dealer of course says he has no information on the Z's and will call when he hears anything. This only makes Riggs madder as he has to move his beachfront trailer and was hoping to use his new Z. Meanwhile, the evil dealer named Mr. Joshua (played by Gary Busey again) is selling the entire lot of his stolen Z's in record time with the novel sales technique of holding a lit lighter up to his forearm and not flinching at the pain, while saying over and over "you wish to make a purchase".
