Of course, at 26.6k, my car will be here before the download is finished. But heh.....I have worn the covers of all the car mags with Z info. I needed some new reading material in the worst way.

Just a few observations:
* Ahh! So that's where the Trip computer switches are (on the right side of the guage cluster)
* Why are there two types of Oil Pressure Meters? Perhaps one for the U.S. Market, and one for Canada ?
* Cool! The Trip Computer includes an Outside Air Temperature feature that is smart enough to warn you when the temperature is near freezing (ok- a gimic, but still cool)
* The distance to empty meter is smart enough to warn you when you're getting close to empty-
* there is a switch under the strut tower bar that will pop the rear hatch.
* An antena mounted in the glass might have caused interference with the tire pressure monitor (see page 5-4)
* clutch must be pressed before starting the engine (I do this normally anyway- but appartently the 350Z has a cutoff that requires this...)
* The up-shift indicator can be helpful during the break-in period to remind you not to rev the engine over 4000 rpm (but how will I resist???)
* suggested maximum speed in 2nd gear is 60 mph(!), 85 in 3rd...
* Look - its a picture of the Z32 on page 6-4!
* There doesn't seem to be anything in the manual about adjusting the front strut tower bar.
* 91 Octane required.

I love how you can hold the unlock button on the keyless entry to open all the windows (can do this with the key too). Its not a big feature, but its very, very nice to have when you live in FL.

didn't see the recommendations for intervals between oil changes. 3000 mi?
the computer is cool. I've never had so much on it.
Odometer x2, air temp, MTE that actually caculates how many more miles to empty bases on mpg of current tank (last car did it based on privious tank), mpg, ave mph, speedometer, tire prussure gauge f/r, up shift indicator (probalby the coolest).
Also the car has a Vehicle immobilizer system so if your key is not being used the car won't start. this is good.
p.s. for all you parents, the car also has a harness latch for a car seat if you disable the air bags. WHO SAYS THIS ISN'T A FAMILY CAR?

I have a question about the automatic adjusting function of the windows...
It says in the manual:
don't close the doors with the battery cable disconnected because damage to the side roof may result (paraphrased from 2-34)
Does this mean that you can't open the doors either if their's no juice?

When I go to the site and navigate through the owners manuals button to the 350Z link - Owners Manual - 2003 Nissan 350Z - I get nothing. Just a dead link.

Strange . . .
I see there is a warning of "Never let children under 12 ride in this vehicle" (pg 1-20) and then on pg 1-27 are the instructions to hook up a child seat. Did I miss something?
