That was my thought.

There is no way anyone can justify that car for that price!

$33K+TTL for a 2005 STi black with BBS gold wheels was what I got quoted, this was before I bought my '05 350Z in 2004. $38K, there must be a lot of dealer upgrades because for that price, it is a major dealer advantage. I have to say after 2.5 years later and 10,000 miles, I am very happy with my Z.

The gearing and heads on the STI's have been revamped for '07. It now reaches 60 in 4.5 seconds, and runs a 12 second qaurter. The Z isn't anywhere near that. I will agree that the Z is better looking though.

My brother has on 07 Sti, but he paid only $32K for it and it has all the little options. I like that car a lot, but you can't compare that and the Z. Two totally different cars. They're both fun to drive in the twisties, but only one in the snow.

Thats because they can drop the clutch from 5k and not spin the tires. The 60 fts a ridiculous, thats why its 4.5 0-60 and 12 second quarter. From a roll, an 07 Z should be right there, and getting higher into the 100 mph, it will pass an STi.

From 5K the tyres spin, all 4, but they hook up faster than RWD. Agreed, all motor will yield a better top end than a small turbo can. But a turbo upgrade and a tune is very easy with the STI.

That it is. Having driven an 07 STI, it was a really nice car. It was also a little faster then previous STI models. I was impressed.
