Default Buying new car. Just test drove 350Z

I am in the market for a new car. I wanted to originally test drive some cars before making a purchase, e.g., 350Z, S2000, Evo, etc. I just test drove a new 2007 base model 6MT 350Z an hour ago. All I can say is WOW! I never had a "car" grin like this before except when I test drove and bought my 2000 Intergra Type-R (I miss that car). Now I know why you guys are hooked. My salesperson is crunching the numbers as I speak.

Take care,

Mike.

Been a member for over 4 years, and still no Z...it's about time. Good luck with the buy.

Wow, this thread is probably the most original thread I've ever read.

Good luck with getting a new Z.

You will appreciate the handling and pick up coming from a Type R. I miss mine too. I had a black 01. Ended up being a track ***** before I sold it.
I miss it, but the Z deffinately helps fill the void

That's cause '07 FTMFW!!!!!!!!! But Base is FTL...
I had an '01 GS-R also. I absolutley loved that car! It was def more fun to drive than my old '03 Z. But i don't think it could touch an '07 in the fun factor.

Don't mention the ITR! I just found an 01 with very low miles for only 16k and WAS considering it for about an hour.

Where? I had a 95 EG with B18C5 Swap, full Type-R suspension conversion (Even the rack and pinion). I miss it bad. I was looking for another ITR as a possible project car. Most that I have found were beaten or riced out.

Wow not too bad. Phoenix Yellow too. I know these cars like the back of my hand. It would be cool to get my hands on one again. Thanks!

Hell I had a 92 eg and I miss that thing to death. I was looking forward to getting into a full project car but after I realized how bad of a condition it was in, I had to let it go. Besides when you have a car that had damn near 50+ lbs. of bondo it seemed like a helpless cause (I should of done a closer inspection on the car before buying it )

At first I read this and thought you were just kinda being sarcastic LOL.

Then for kicks I divided the amount I have spent on mods and labor and things I did and then re-did and divided by 15 months that I have had my Z and WOW it was like $566 a month in mods.

Thank God I'm done modding

Even though the ITR is not as powerful as the Z, there's something about it that makes it fun to drive. I don't know if it's the balance of the car or the combination of high reving engine with the smooth shifting tranny.

Very true. I think I might go for it mainly because I can use the extra money for mods power/suspension mainly other then waiting till the Z is fully paid off before I can have the spare cash. Oh the decisions...besides insurance wouldn't be that bad for a 20 yr. old compared to the Z. But none the less both cars are very fun to track

To be honest, the integ has its charms. I drove it the other day and took this turn pretty fast, it felt sick as **** with its low wieght, azenis, and itr rear sway bar. And that nice view (full of little chips though) out of the front windshield. But the Z mmmmm

Dont matter to me I got both hehe
