Ok, I am in southern Texas, and it rained alot really fast causing areas to get flooded. My Z got water in it. It still turned on & I was able to drive it. I went to a car wash , removed the seats and took the carpet out. I was able to vacuum about 95% of the water out. The carpet has like sound deadening materials that are sponge type that held alot of water. My car threws out a little white smoke while idle-ing. None when driving. And now the air bag light next to the fuel gauge wont turn off.



Very SAD!!!

 

Oh man. Maybe the connector to the seat malfunctioned? It might not be as bad as you think.

 

Do your seats have airbags in them? Maybe that's the issue because you removed them.

 

Hmmm, thats not good. Tough to sell a car with flood damage.

 

Nobody at stealership knows or will know.
I cleaned it all out.
The water was only in the car for 1 or 2 hours.
Is that bad????
It was all clear water, No sand/murky water.
It only came up to the carpet. Never above it.

 

my air bag light did the same thing if u have air bags in ur seats and u removed your seats thats the problem u need to take it to the dealer ship and they can reset it 4 u

 

Yeah, I was thinking that about the seats. Thats really gay. In my 03 & 05 I removed the seats plenty of times and it never happened. My car is at Nissan as we speak.
My horn also got major pownage.

 

hey maybe you should start parting it out and trust me you will get more that just selling it... i would buy the driver with steering wheel airbag, passenger with dash cover, and seat belts... tell me and thank you.
