Default Is There a V8 In The Future For The Z ?

I was wondering if the 5.6-lier V8 that will Nissan will be using in it's upcoming "full size" Titan truck would ever be an option on future 350Z's ?

I think the only downer on the new Z is the lack of power, does anyone know if the 04 or 05 model year will offer the V8, or even a revised V6 with more horses or turbo/supercharger ?

Thanks

V8 in a Jpn. sports car... that would be the biggest laugh ever.

and VQ, the 2005 Turbo isn't official yet.. it's still over 2.5 years away, anything can happen

so the 2005 model will have a turbo or supercharged engine ? what do you think that will sticker for ? How much HP do you think it will push ? 325HP, or 350HP ?

Wow... those are some pretty big numbers... i think we should wait a little before we make assumptions like that... im not thinkin itd be that high HP wise... the price seems pretty accurate though...

ok, lets say it wont be 375HP, will it at least be over 325HP realistically ?

and in your opinions, will the car have minor styling changes to it as well ?

also, this car will go on sale in a little over a year from now ? say August 2004 ?

just seems odd that they would offer it TT when we know nismo plans a SC, and possible a turbo which if there is a turbo, will not be covered under the warrenty plan. competing within the company no?

anyway. no V8, the big downside would be about 200lbs. it would need new suspension to hold the weight, distrobution would be thrown off. in short, youd have a domestic car, with all the things that made atleast me, choose to have a japanese car.

I guess some people missed the R390/1 - tt-v8 Nissan bred killa'
What a car!!!!!

There was a ton of hoopla when they went from the I6 to the V6 and I'm not so sure that everything has been redeemed within the camps - I've grown up with the V6 engines(Z31 and Z32TT) so I like 'em AND i definitely enjoy the older models as well.
