I don't know if they will fit in the back of my jeep but we could try. Where is the shop at? Its raining, i sure wouldn't want to drive my Z hoodless and bumperless in the rain. So its the bumper and the hood right? I could put my back seats down and probably fit the hood i'm not sure about the bumper/hood combo here though.

You can get ticketed with no bumper. Unfortunitly cops don't know the difference between bumper and bumper cover... However if you were driving through IL and you got pulled over and just said your on your way to the bodyshop you would, most likely, be let go. These laws are really applied to the beaters and hoopties out there...

Dont do it in the day time. If a cop sees you, you will get busted.

I did it in my Turbo ITR once. People flipped when they saw it, but so did the cops.

Just rent a panel van or one of those pickups from Home Depot.

It's not about being cheap, it's about not bangin' up the hood while picking it up. The paint is still new, any risk of being pushed around - even while wrapped in blankets or the like - is not good. I really don't think it's "RICERistic" or giving a bad name if I'm just driving the car to pick up my parts.

Look at the car again...if I'm being cheap I'd be rolling american racing wheels...

american racing wheels= my first consideration when stock!! j/k

I think it should be fine, you won't give anybody a bad name. You are not going to HIN show, you are going to bodyshop to pick up the bodyparts for god sake! what's wrong with you people! haha
It should be a head turner either way so don't worry

I drove my G to my body shop with no bumper, headlights, right fender, fender liners, or sideskirts installed.

To tell you the truth, I kinda liked the open-wheel look.

Why not take the windshield off while your at it. Who needs doors. Turn that G into a Jeep.

actually...lol it's funny you asked because I was on the phone with monokuroboo when I was taking off my fender linings and talking about how I'm taking Natalie to the shop tomorrow. We're going to put the bumper on there and see how the paint match is, if it's good then I'm taking her home...if it needs blending of the fenders then I'll leave it there.

So yeah...I'm driving her hoodless/bumperless tomorrow haha. It'll be really funny to see how ppl react when they see my car.

why don't you just get it flat-bedded over there? driving without a hood & bumper could do some damage to the engine bay, like damaging the radiator. or maybe something unlikely like the plenum.

I love my car too much to take that kind of chance.
